Custom Bodies mounts Hurricane Katrina Relief Drive - Challenges Other Trainers To Do Same
It started with a simple offer to their 800 plus clients – Donate the equivalent of the cost of 1 session to the Red Cross, Salvation Army or charity of your choice and receive a free session on your account. The next step was to contact the several hundred people who subscribe to their online services and newsletter. “I got an e mail the next day from a newsletter subscriber in Ohio who told me that her children had mounted a toy drive at their school and would be going from house to house asking for toys to send to the children who lost everything. That really got me motivated” says Dianne, “We have been so unbelievably blessed to have been spared in the bay area through the past few years that it is the least we can do and I am happy to have given out nearly 150 free sessions in 3 ½ days” Custom Bodies has also pledged to donate 20% of all new client enrollment fees and 10% of all new client session fees taken in from September 7th – October 7th to the Red Cross. “It’s win, win for everyone” says Miss Villano , “many people have been thinking about the body of their dreams and thinking of starting a fitness program – hopefully this will motivate them to stop thinking and start doing while helping out a great cause. Unfortunately, this is a busy time of year for us with every one returning from summer vacations but, we have space for a few new clients and every little bit helps.” Dianne also extends the challenge to other fitness professionals in the Bay area. “There are hundreds of fitness professionals in St Petersburg and Tampa, ” she says , “If everyone committed to donate just the fee from a single ½ hour session, we can have a tremendous impact.
