A study from the University
of Georgia in Athens shows that you can ward off physiological
effects of stress such as soaring blood pressure. After having fitness
levels measured and undergoing a series of stress tests, the fittest
women had less dramatic jumps in systolic blood pressure, meaning
lower risk for high pressure readings down the road.
