4 Tips To Prevent Joint Pain

One in three Americans that suffer from arthritis. Don't want to be one of them? Try these easy prevention strategies

  1. Stay slim - Carrying around too much weight puts extra stress on the joints.
  2. Lift weights - Strong muscles provide a support system for the joints.
  3. Stretch - Exercises such as bending over to touch your toes or rotating your arm in a slow windmill motion keep the joints flexible.
  4. Don't overdo it - Low-impact exercise is healthier on the joints. Certain high-impact sports are just as risky to the joints as sitting around on the couch all day.
